10 fun trivia questions: State geography

“Jeopardy” junkies and pub trivia nerds take note: We’ve put together some fun facts about American geography that’ll surely win you the next round. For the sake of fairness, we’ve limited this to the Lower 48, since, geographically speaking, Alaska and Hawaii have an unfair advantage when it comes to the exceptional.

Minnesotans can  not count past 100. That may be why they claimed 10000 lakes. they just knew they had a lot.

The Golden State’s Mount Whitney comes in at 14,494 feet, according to the National Park Service, making it the highest peak in the country outside of Alaska’s Mount McKinley.........so actually the state with the tallest mountain is Alaska. This is crappy journalism!!!!!

Who wrote this? If the question is supposed to be which of the CONTIGUOUS 48 states has the fill-in-the-blank, then don't say "which state" and then answer, "Outside of Alaska...." Last time I checked, Alaska and Hawaii were part of the United States. It's just stupid.

They keep saying "outside of Alaska".  Last I checked, Alaska was a state!!
