You can not take The Pan-American hyway from alaska to Chile. The Darien Gap on the Panama-Columbia border is 200 miles wide.Wild jungle and nothing you can call a road. Unless you are a drug smuggler or a member of FARC (anit government geurillas) you have only a slim chance of crossing it and live to tell about it

I've seen streets that are as steep in Vicksburg, MS. Whoever wrote this should check his facts first before asserting them.

I found the steepest to be Jacob's Ladder on St. John, USVI, and the crookedest the road to Hana, on Maui, Hawaii. The steepest in the shortest distance was the road to Haleakala, Ele 10.025 feet.

You have got to check out the street in DeadWood SD that leads from the center of town to Mt. Moria cemetry . Houses on both sides and I was afraid to even think of turning left or right on my motorcycle ( they tip over on steep hills). There was a spot at the top to turn.

YOU WOULD THINK THAT THE TOWN WITH THE SHORTEST STREET AND THE FIRST CONCRETE STREET IN AMERICA WOULD MAKE THE LIST. OH WELL BELLEFONTAINE, OHIO, YOU GET BYPASSED AGAIN.

Theres a street that connects Denison ave and Jennings in Cleveland that is pretty damn steep too...
