New and Renewed Museums for 2012
America’s golden age of museum building isn’t over, at least not yet. From the radical relocation of the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia to a spate of museum renewals in preparation for the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, there are a good number of exciting openings and reopening this year. So let’s make like billionaire businessman H. Ross Perot and see what’s under the hood at nine museum projects large and small across the country.
