Get real ! If you want a beautiful place you can't beat northern minnesota four true seasons and out door activities like hunting, fishing, hiking, snowmobilling, boating and on and on. Not to mention but a very low percentage of minorities which means a very low crime rate. Not predjudice but the facts speak for themselfs. There is a good indian population but the casinos seems to have taken care of there issues.

These are all beautiful and scenic drives, but another most beautiful place to see is the Blue Ridge Parkway in western North Carolina, and, also, the great Smokey Mountains.

Rio truly is a wonder.  It is such an incredibly sprawling city built in, throughout, and around a magnificent set of grassy hills and small mountains all forming a series of 7 or 8 beautiful, natural bays.  It is very much like the most beautiful decorated fish or flower that you can possibly imagine but that is also highly dangerous if not respected and properly feared.

I lived on MIdway Island as a child.  Old enough to remember and enjoy all the wonderful experiences of the wildlife.  Fishball hunting in storms, snorkling with the sharks, mantas, rainbow fish, eels etc... and even helped raise an orphaned albatross.

Beauty truly is within the soul of the beholder, what someone sees outwardly

is just the reflection of the persons inner being. Places that are observed as

better or worse are actually just opinions expressed by someone's true essence.

There really are no better or worse places, just the difference of ones conceptual reality.

I have been going to Lake Tahoe for the past 30 years.  This is the prettiest place in the world.  The mountain are
magnificent, especially with snow on them, and the skiing is wonderful.  This is America the beautiful for all to
see.  Try it

I was commenting on using Everest, which shows a lack of homework by the authors.  I agree with the folks from Utah. Bryce Canyon, Zion National, and Arches National Parks are all spectacular places and are definitely desitinations that anyone who loves nature should visit at least once in their life.
