if you like outdoor activities check in to central oregon lots of golf courses white water rafting the weather is excellent low 80's during the day 50's at night humidity is about 15% also bend is known for bicycling it has a outdoor amp theater with top name bands over 400 restaurants to choose from excellent view of snow capped mountains

My choice would be Western Montana and Southern Alberta.  Just there and the visit was great.  Great scenery, lots of water,and  cool weather.  Home of Glacier Park,and  the Roosevelt ranch for starters.

I vote for Montana but the report missed "Big Wonderful Wyoming" with the Bighorn Mountains, Cody with the Buffalo Bill Museum and a place not often mentioned any more Thermopolis with its hot springs, The hot Springs National Park and more.

Punta Mita is a beautiful place and not crowded with college students and the atmosphere they bring. So is Cozumel, by the way.  Don't be like others on post who make assumptions just because some border towns in Mexico are having problems. That's like being scared to visit New York because of  problems in California; because after all they are both in the USA. Pure Ignorance!
