I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED TO FLY,BUT LATELY THE SEATS ARE SO CLOSE TOGETHER,NOT ENOUGH LEG ROOM FOR A TALL PERSON, AND SOMETIMES THE DISTANCE FROM ONE CONNECTION TO THE NEXT HAS MADE ME THINK DIFFERENTLY.I AM NOW CONSIDERING THE TRAIN.I DO NOT UDERSTAND WHY THE USA DOESN'T HAVE BETTER PLANES TO TRAVEL ESPECIALLY SINCE THE COST IS VERY EXPENSIVE.I WAS TOLD TO FLY FROM NORFOLK ,VA. TO COLUMBUS ,OHIO WOULD BE 800.00 DOLLARS ROUND TRIP.UNBELIVEABLE.

So you would support socialism too? Just take away everything that people have worked for and put everyone on the same level? These people worked for what they have. "add 6 inches" I'm not impressed.

Yeah.. money would totally help.. especially with my Christmas shopping! this year I am going low cost.. I am getting some great gifts for my whole list for under $15. I am making these spice mixes, toffe, and fudge and pairing them with the cookbook that the recipes came from.. this hilarious, unpc book called.. well I won't tell you the title here cause some of you will freak out, but if you look for "Poke Me Pork" (it's their signature dish) you will find it.. but don't go if you don't have thick skin and can take a good joke.

It would be an advantage to all domestic airlines. to employ say 4 to six rows of seating such as that for the elderly who would do better in a prone state and or others with medical conditions that would benefit from it. why is it only flights leaving the US that get the bells and whistles?

United First Class between Hawaii and L.A. or S.F. is comparable to what United use to have for Business Class. A First Class like United use to have between Hawaii and L.A. or S.F. no long even exists. Most if not all United coach seats are both narrower and have less leg room. I know this not from how I fit, but the fact hard side luggage, with stainless steel frame, that use to fit under the seat will no long fit there. Also the pet carrier that United Airlines use to issue in the 70's that fit under their seats no longer fits. Has not fit for many years now. That, plus many people growing taller, makes flying more difficult and miserable.

SO WHAT IF THEY CAN AFFORT COMFORT......this might come as a suprise to the

libs: LIFE ISN'T FAIR OR EQUAL...AND "NEVER WILL BE"........goodday......

Back in the day, I flew between the States and Asia, always on Northwest Airlines. Their first class service was incomparable and business class comfortable. I don't need "posh," just good food, comfortable seat and room to stretch out, watch movies and sleep my way across the hours.
