Best cities to spot a celebrity

Forget buying tourist maps of star homes or going to your local Hard Rock Café, hoping for a glimpse of a famous face. If we’ve learned anything at all from the gossip mags, it’s that celebrities are just like us: shopping, dining and strolling in the park. They walk among us; you just need to know where to look. Here are some cities you can visit to get enough star sightings to make Page Six envious.

This is such a stupid article...just encourages celebrity and the fascination with them...which is not good because so many are idiots or losers..yes, there are a few decent women and men who can act, but we need to get away from this celebrity obsession we have and get into something that means something...like education ourselves or helping others....I live in LA and yes, I see celebs in my 'hood all the time...restaurants, on their bikes, walking down the street, shopping- guess what? they are just like you and me....shocking....get over it.

Being from Nashville, I find this info to be several years out of date! Sunset Grill is no longer the "hot spot" for celebrity sightings, its been a dead spot for some time now. Jessica Simpson no longer has a place here. Someone didn't do their homework on this article. Garth & Trisha, like Blake & Mirand, have homes in or around Nashville, but are NOT full time residents.

Most celebs don't want you to recognize them. Look how they do the TMZ guys.

I don't care about the celebrities, but I figure they know the best places to eat. Thanks for the restaurant tips. Foodie Wendy

Now for the real Austin. Roads so congested that you can't get anywhere, running out of water, rolling brownouts during the summer months, construction on just about every street, property taxes sky rocketing a homeless beggar on every corner, musicians call it " Tip jar capital of the world" every venue wants you to play but they don't want to pay you anything. Come visit but please don't stay.

maybe its just me but i find it so odd that those who "aren't" interested in the article have the longest comments and the most professed knowledge...and if they do "put their pants on the same way we do" then why are you reading the article in the first place...confused...

I have met the most celebrities walking around in Nashville, followed by Las Vegas (David Hasselhof) and then Clearwater, FL (Hulk Hogan).

All were very gracious and appreciated being recognized.

Strange that Vancouver wasn't on the list, despite most movies are being filmed there these days.

Wow the Austin skyline has really changed since I left there in 2007.

This is just plain stupid.  The so called celebtities are mostly immoral and corrupt liberals who couldn't work in the real world.  Some people are so dumb as to follow this sh-t.

Proof= just look at who is elected in public office by the dumb masses.
