Nice place to visit, but not to live! Filthy streets, gypsy beggars at the entrances to most churches and supermarkets, horrid traffic problems, arrogant people, almost everything is very expensive. And while Italian food is certainly good, it can be difficult to find good different food (I mean, you can get pretty sick of pizza and pasta, and most of the other Italian food is too expensive).
But the violent crime is pretty minimal, that is nice.
Baths of Caracalla are mind-boggling, they were HUGE.
