I love Texas wines, they have a really great variety but I was really surprised at the wineries in New Jersey!  I visited 3 great wineries and bought a lot of bottles I had to finish before I left that week... it was a good trip to say the least!

Virginia and up-state NY have been making good wines for many, many years. Just not for the wine snobs of the world. Their wines are without a doubt some of the best bangs for the buck.
