Hell yes NYC is expensive, duh, 8 million freakin' people live their and they don't all sweep side walks.....If you are gonna b_tch about how much it cost, go to the corner deli and have them pack you a sack lunch everyday, eat 1.5 at lunch 1.5 at dinner.......go Central Park, with your unbrella if necessary and eat lunch and people watch, NYC does NOT come to a stand still when it rains.....its just water for heavens sake.....the weather changes constantly and that is why you should check out a 10-day forecast before going to one the greatest cities on Earth.......If you are gonn be all pi$$y (which you probably are most of the time) about it go ahead and drive, your un-happy a$$ to your little week-end pleasure house.....
NYC does not compare at all to where you live (althought I think it's pretty cool there, meaning cool as groovy).....you clearly fall under the 4 P's....piss poor proper planning..........Hardy har.......if you are gonna be a traveler, you need both money, a decent attitude and extra money.......think about it........
