Best college towns in North America

There is simply no better season in college then autumn, when the new academic year engenders visions of intensive study sandwiched somewhere between yet unforeseen friendships and inevitable youthful indiscretions. Here’s a list of college towns so quintessential that some of the students walking across the quad for the first time will one day call them home.

WSU has to be the worst school in history. The local students have polluted the Snake River with beer cans, dirty syringes, and used condoms. WSU also leads the nation in students rectally intaking alcohol. Just last year they were caught gluing wheels on turtles and calling it science.
This does not sound like a nice place to live at all.

They left out Ft. Collins, Colorado!  I love that town!  I love visiting my nephew who lives there!  Everytime we go there, we always have a wonderful time together because there is so much to do and places to go.  The only unfortunate thing about Ft. Collins is that the mountain trail we so loved to take was burned up in last summer's forest fires.

 

Downtown shopping at Ft. Collins is something else yet.  They have stores you just don't find just any ol' place.  The restaurants are fun places to go and to be.  I live in blah Topeka, KS.  It is the home of Washburn University.  Little else to see, but then, I am something of a captive here.  And no, I do not live in any kind of lock up.  I am unemployed through no fault of my own, and I am sad tonight.

SCC freak- check a map. Spokane is about an hour away and there are several great rural towns in the vicinity. Regardless, unless you've been a Coug, you'll never understand. And that's ok.
