Glasgow Film Festival Yes Scotland

A more populist counterpart to Edinburgh’s annual film fest, the GFF has gone from strength to strength in recent years. In addition to the main programmers, the Festival also incorporates several mini-festival strands, including Fright Fest, Glasgow Youth Film Festival and the Glasgow Film & Music Festival. Keep your eyes peeled for the programmers launch in January.

"bookiebird," I thought that this "blog" was supposed to be about "Oktoberfest" in Munich, Germany.  However, you wanna make it about the f'ed-up political arena.  Go figure!!!  You people that post on whatever websites are soooo worthless are so pathetic & worthless.  All you have to do is just sit on websites & bitch, whine, moan & groan about something you can't change or are not willing to put out any effort to try to change.  Get over yourselves, you bunch of whiners.  Suck it up & get over it, as I have done for a lotta years or do something to change it.  Oh, & Obama is not the way as he is a part of the Bilderbergers.  Check it out if you don't believe me.  Good luck to all who do NOT wanna be a part of the system, just as I don't. - cllS

Boy, I am in the wrong state of the union if this is what you all are waiting in the New Year, I have much better than that crap. Try the calle ocho festival in miami in March, One week each March, Miami transforms itself into a traditional Latin street festival. This festival is known as the largest street festival on earth! February 18 – Competition for Miss Carnival Miami

March 5, 6 & 7 – Baptist Health Domino Tournament (held in Domino Park) is a traditional competition between Miami’s domino experts with a cash prize for the winner. March 8 – Carnaval Miami Golf Classic at the Melreese Golf Course, March 11 – El Festival de la Ocho – Calle Ocho Block Party

. Here in springfield, IL every saturday of the month we have the salsa night at the travel lodge, new years eve salsa night at the travel lodge, salsa night with costume on Halloween on the travel lodge. Thanksgiving and Christmas you spent it with the family. And if that is not enough, try The Cuban independe celebration in Echo Park, CA. in May and if that is not enough, well I got more.

I haven't been to Oktoberfest in years, but I am sure that it is still a great trip.

as usual, the comments section devolved into politics. Guess what...both sides are idiots. Both sides have smart people supporting them but you can guarantee that the people who argue in comments sections definitely do make up the smarter portion of their cause. You both spew the same tired talking points from the same bias news stations. The only thing different is that democrats know how to talk to people....the once proud republican party has turned into a disgusting crowd of sore losers who just constantly snivel, whine, whip up fear where there is none, and spew the worst hate i've ever read.  Democrats are definitely guilty of avoiding the subject of the budget and debt but at least they are legitamizing rape and claiming half of the country are victims. The blame game is disgusting on both sides but republicans have some serious overhauling and paradigm shifting in order to appeal to the public again and anyone who denies that is absolutely delusional.

What about Carnaval in Rio? No bigger party in the world.  Bad omission.

KZW.Ho: Keep talking that nasty Republican smack and you will help us Dems. win both the house and the Senate. The American people are tired of the brutish rude behavior that you and others of your ilk are always exhibiting in these forums, Or you could just grow up and quit your childish behaviour.

I went to the 200th annual Oktoberfest in Munich in 2010, and have the memorabilia to prove it.  How then can 2013 be the 180th????
