Best cities for coffee lovers

To be a true coffee hot spot, a city has to do more than just house java drinkers. The places listed below are passionate about the brew; they've created a unique culture around it; and some of them have even invented their own distinct coffee blends. Because coffee is not just a jolt of caffeine, it's an experience.

Please spread the word!!     COLOMBIA is spelled with an O.We have GREAT coffee here! This is a common mistake but for COLOMBIANS,it is an oversight  to see their beloved country spelled incorrectly! Thank you from the bottom of my  heart. Ellen deLima -lived here since 1966! Happily !!

I've had coffee in 4 of those cities and while the coffees were good there's none like at home.

What some of the comments fail to acknowledge is that while places like Columbia and Jamaica produce great coffee, the best coffee in those countries is often exported to other places such as the US.  Therefore, they actually don't always make for great "coffee cities" in terms of finding a great cup in a cafe locally.

Why doesn't this article mention Blue Mountain coffee from Jamaica?  It is absolutely one of the best that one can taste too!

Wartburg TN brews a mighty mean cup. Boiled for about 2 days and you drink it standing up. It counteracts the local moonshine.
